“I stumbled upon Essentrics almost accidentally in late November 2014. A friend told me about a new fitness/workout that was the rage in Montreal and that she wanted to try. I immediately googled Essentrics and found local classes that Sheri Burge ran a short distance from my house. I was having low back pain, muscle spasms and joint issues in my hips and knees even though I had always been very active. I needed a program that was not only a full body workout but focused on strengthening and stretching muscles, balance and posture. After my first class I was hooked. I loved the flow of the classic Essentrics sequences, combined with Sheri’s musical choreography and dynamic energy. I’ve been particularly impressed how Sheri takes the time after every class to enquire about the workout session, and any issues you may be having. Each class brings new challenges as I rebalance my body and unlock tight muscles and clean out joints. But my body is transforming into a lean and toned look with greater flexibility. I’m shedding some excess body fat that I was beginning to put on, and feeling fantastic. Even though I’ve begun my own mini workout routine at home using the Essentrics videos, I won’t be stopping my Essentrics classes with Sheri. In fact I’ve increased to twice a week.
